2002 was the 50th Year of Elizabeth II's reign as Queen of the United Kingdom. In recognition of this, the Alexander Doll Co. created a series of 8 Coronation dolls in 2002 that recreate the magic of her accension to the throne in Feb 1952 and coronation on June 2, 1953.
